Our greatest desire is to be seen, isn’t it? And maybe that’s why the camera has always made sense to me. To see moments, to see beings and to capture them are they really are. I learned how to use film in a middle school dark room and would spend the next decade or so carrying my camera around. From studying psychology, to becoming an actor the camera was always a tool I used to make sense of things. It wasn’t till recently that it became something new, it’s now the way I choose to tell stories. -Rachel
